About this deal

The rest of the family believe that Ryan is the perfect catch, so whys Ed's intuition telling him something different? This one started off really strong, but then I wanted to throw the MC off a cliff she was so annoying and daft .... it was pretty obvious who the murdered way..... eyeroll.

Forget about solving all these crimes; the signal triumph here is (spoiler) the heroine’s survival. It's the evening drive home from work, a route Joe Lynch has taken a hundred times with his young son. But when he unexpectedly sees his wife's car ahead of them, he decides to follow her - and ends up witnessing her secret rendezvous with another man. The encounter will tear two families apart and leave an innocent man set up to take the fall for a murder. Tim’s thrillers have sold more than two million copies in the UK and are published in translation in 22 other countries including Italy, Spain, Sweden, Portugal, France, Germany, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Greece, South Korea, Romania and the Netherlands.Great start, its taut, exciting, intriguing and suspenseful, and when they both get kidnapped it ratchets up all those things even more

Wright, p. 125. Appointed from South Carolina on February 23, 1865, to rank from February 15, and confirmed by Confederate Congress February 23. Sifakis, Stewart. Who Was Who in the Civil War. New York: Facts On File, 1988. ISBN 978-0-8160-1055-4. The author did an excellent job in keeping me on my toes, and uncertain if Ed was losing his grasp on reality or if Ryan was indeed not quite the catch everyone thought he was. This was an addictive read that I raced through.A new boyfriend, a sudden engagement…and now rushing head-long into marriage!? Wait! This is all happening too fast!✋🛑 Thrillers are my favourite genre of book, but this is definitely one I am going to remember. Over the last few chapters my heart was racing, my hands and legs shaking. I was on the edge of my seat desperate to find out what happened. The writing flooded my body with adrenaline and was simply amazing. I particularly loved the chapters from the perspectives of other characters. Giving insight into their thoughts and reasonings.

Publication Order of Short Stories/Novellas

This was a slow burning, creepy thriller with a fantastic twist that is set up in such a way with red herrings to mislead you until the last second. What would you do if you were approached by a stranger and handed a small baby? If you had the pressures of knowing that child was in danger, but not where the danger was coming from? This is the position that Ellen finds herself in and she's just the kind of woman who can't resist getting involved. Bestselling author TM Logan was a national newspaper journalist before turning to novel-writing full time. His thrillers have sold more than two million copies in the UK and are published in translation in 22 countries around the world including France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Germany, South Korea, Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Greece, Romania and the Netherlands. Joe soon discovers that the barb of his wife's betrayal is just the beginning of what he's about to face in the following days to come. But what about Ed? Should he follow his instincts? It turns out he has reasons that bring his motivation into question, so it's unclear. But he decides to go to great lengths to prove Ryan is not who he says he is, and risks everything to do so. No one, including his wife, agrees with him. Ed’s research into Ryan becomes an obsession, one that threatens to cost him his job and his family. Evans, Clement Anselm (1899). T. M. Logan was born in Berkshire to an English father and a German mother. He studied at Queen Mary and Cardiff universities before becoming a national newspaper journalist. He currently works in communications and lives in Nottinghamshire with his wife and two children. Lies is his first novel. I loved the protagonist Ellen, and she was a fantastic character to take on the challenge of looking after Mia and unravelling the mystery surrounding her mother Kathryn. Ellen was one of those characters that I felt empathy for but frustrated with at the same time. Separated from her husband and desperately wanting a baby of her own, there were times when some decisions she made had me shouting in my head “why are you doing that…” and I had a horrible feeling that things wouldn’t end well, however her protective instinct towards a stranger’s baby and the unknown danger that they both faced, spurred her on. The extent of Ryan’s disturbing hunting behavior is also made clear in The Catch book ending. Prior to his demise, he explained in his narrative that he pre-dug graves on the moors and filled them with a lilo to keep the shape so they were ready for his victims. He also had night-vision goggles and drugs ready for use too and it was made clear that Abbie was part of his cover, not the end of his desire to carry on killing. How could Channel 5’s The Catch ending differ? When the American Civil War began in 1861, Logan chose to follow his home state of South Carolina and the Confederate cause. He volunteered for the Washington Light Infantry, which participated in the Battle of Fort Sumter on April 12–13. [2] Later that month he was appointed a second lieutenant in the Confederate Army, and in May he was promoted to first lieutenant and joined Wade Hampton's Legion. Logan was assigned to Company A of the unit, which had been formed in Charleston. [5] Early photograph of LoganI love Mr Logan's thrillers they never fail to entertain, the characters always highly engaging and always with clever underlying faultlines to mess with your perception of them Lily Logan Morrill (November 18, 2011). A Builder of the New South: Notes on the career of Thomas M. Logan. Author House. pp.75–76. ISBN 978-1-4678-7032-0. When Abbie introduces her father (ED) to her fiancé, Ryan; Ed instantly mistrusts Ryan. On the surface, Ryan seems like the perfect catch - he is successful, charming and handsome. But Ed can feel that something isn't quite right with the young man.
