About this deal

Hydraulic Micro-Punching Repeater : The Armor has a Hydraulic Micro-Punching Repeating Arm (if attached), which according to Tony "makes the Hulk sleep." Its design was completely based on the Hulkbuster Armor from the comic books, confirming that this is the same armor with the same name as the one from the comics. The Mark XLIV is extremely large in size. The armor has a dark red tone as its overall plating color, along with golden plates in various areas of its structure. It is covered with layered pieces of metal and has multiple Arc Reactors around its body. The armor was presumably tested and worked at various times by Stark and Banner before its ultimate perfection and completion. War Machine Armor Mark I • War Machine Armor Mark II • Iron Patriot Armor • War Machine Armor Mark III • War Machine Armor Mark IV • War Machine Armor Mark V • War Machine Armor Mark VI • War Machine Armor Mark VII After Scarlet Witch manipulated Doctor Bruce Banner into turning into Hulk, Tony Stark had no other choice but to deploy the system as all of the other Avengers with the exception of Hawkeye were incapacitated. The armor was deployed from Veronica and came split into two separate parts. The first part was a metal containment shell which helped to confine Hulk for a brief period of time.

Iron Man with a new left arm Should the Hulkbuster armor sustain heavy damage, Veronica hovering above the armor will respond to the authorized user's command by sending spare parts to replace the ones that were damaged. For instance, when Hulk drove a pole into the Hulkbuster's left arm and severely damaged it, upon the command of Stark, Veronica releases several armor parts that would form an alternate left arm for the armor to battle Hulk. This Article is part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (Earth-199999) - the universe that takes place within the MCU franchise. It is therefore regarded as Official and Canon Content, and is connected to all other MCU related subjects. Repulsors: The armor has the ability to shoot repulsor beams strong enough to hold down Hulk, if only for a while. Marvel movie fans who've closely followed the development of each film in the franchise may recognize the premise of this figure as something that was in an early draft of the Avengers: Age of Ultron script, where a twist would reveal Banner inside Iron Man armor in the final act as a distract to Ultron who had a personal vendetta against Stark. It never came to be but that idea was saved for Infinity War, at least partially.
