Emma joined Together in 2003 and has over with over 21 years’ experience within the mental health charity sector, leading on change management, transformation, implementation and quality assurance. During her time at Together, Linda has led the growth of our portfolio of criminal justice mental health services. Under her leadership, Together developed leading expertise in the field of Liaison and Diversion with Together becoming the leading provider of this service in the voluntary and community sector. Linda has also previously pioneered Together’s Pathways models of intensive intervention approaches for people with complex and multiple needs.

Wellways has worked together in partnership with local community, alcohol and drug and clinical service providers to build some of the first Mental Health and Wellbeing Locals – a place for people to get mental health and wellbeing support. Through our advocacy services, we now support more than 1,600 people across the country. We aim to support people in an environment where they feel safe and comfortable, so we carry out this work in a wide range of settings, from hospitals to the community. We also provide Advocacy services in a number of secure mental health facilities. Our advocacy services are always independent and not influenced by any other support a person may be receiving from other organisations, ensuring we can fully represent their views and wishes while valuing and learning from their lived experiences. We provide a range of mental health services to support people who experience mental distress. Linda first joined the organisation 16 years ago as a frontline Forensic Mental Health Practitioner and became Director of Criminal Justice Services at Together in 2014, joining our senior leadership team.
