About this deal

Although you can select devices on the remote's LCD screen, you can't simply use the remote as a universal remote to control the TV or other device. Pressing the OFF button does not turn off the TV or the home theater system. Each device must be added to an activity.

away the cables and receivers and control everything from behind closed cabinets and doors, also you can Home Assistant....just like the system it uses itself to perform some of the tasks...Obviously it might need some tinkering, but lots of it can be done but does require a Home Assisatnt setup which many might not have or even know how to setup...its certainly not for all Compared to the URC remote, setup for my system was a breeze, and the remote works perfectly. While theThe battery life is good, and I charged it once when I got it six weeks ago. But, as my editor pointed out, this is normal for new devices. However, I am still on one battery bar after six weeks. So even if I have to charge once per month, that’s pretty impressive. I’ve been using this for a few months and it is still a love-hate relationship. It does consolidate remotes and the hub is great at sending signals. I had the U1 and I had to stand right in front of my TV to get it to work. The developer responded and finally told me there is a bug in the IR design. When I power off, my Apple TV (4k) device stays on. If I want to power that off as well is that a setting in the device setup? Or do I just need to adjust my Sleep settings in the Apple TV’s settings? They also have improved the IR remote learning function. I have not had any issues finding a code for my devices, but I tried to teach the Sofabaton X1 commands, which worked for me this time. However, learning commands is still imperfect, requiring you to play with the remotes positioning. But the Sofabaton X1 was able to learn them successfully. SofaBaton X1 Universal Remote with Hub and App, All in One

As mentioned last month,our X1 remote V9 and Hub V13 are ready to use now.By the way,for WiFi version,due to the firmware database did not include WiFi version before,that's why you only can see the version keeps as 0.0.0,but it will not effect your using no matter which WiFi version is,thanks for your attention.We will focus on the WiFi upgrading next time to be 2.0.8,thank you for your understanding.The image I showed you is the one for our test ,but the version did not finally release,thanks for your patience. Right; some people seem to be complaining that it is not a completely different remote i.e. one with a numeric keyboard. Did they not notice it did not have one and did not have one intentionally? So, it’s been a full year with the Sofabaton. I am sure you are curious if I still have my Harmony Elite in the loop. Well, I do, but not so much for me. My wife still prefers the Harmony remote. It’s not that she doesn’t understand or can’t “get” the swing of the Sofabaton. It’s more that she is accustomed to the Harmony and doesn’t see the need to go to another remote. If I disconnected the Harmony and all we had was the Sofabaton, she would be able to navigate it all. So I just tried the Sofabaton U2 but it was missing some pretty key functionality to be useful that I’m wondering if the X1 has (and perhaps you can answer). We have optimized the WiFi control of ROKU to solve the abnormal long-press without any response issue;

You and I have wildly different experiences. I have my Sofabaton on a Bell Fibe Homehub 3000 which does 2.5 and 5 ghz on the same SSID and I have not had a single issue with my device yet. Nor have I had to reboot it aside from firmware updates. position in the device mode, to avoid an error with the information recorded in the Activity setting, as

I have vowed to use only the Sofabaton X1 for the next month so that I can give it a test. So far, I like it. Once I had the Activities set up correctly, no issues arose. Devices started, and inputs switched correctly. I know that some people hate the fact that you have to wake the remote with a button press, but for me, I find that scrolling the wheel is an intuitive motion, so it’s a non-starter for me. scrolling a rollerball and pressing it, and a list of advanced controls for every device can be foundWorks with alexa & google assistant to control your appliances, such as,"Google turn on your TV", "Google To the best of my knowledge, the only way of doing that on a phone/tablet is with software like Control4 which is considerably more expensive than a universal remote. The hub is the heart of the Sofabaton X1. The hub handles all the IR, wi-fi, and Bluetooth commands for your entire system. You heard me right; the remote is nothing but a wireless connection to your hub that gives you tactile buttons for essential functions and allows you to map your frequently used commands to a specific key. Honestly this review does not match my experience with the Sofabaton, and I think advising people to buy them at this point is wildly inappropriate without more realistic details on the stuff that is broken. ease entertainment. This is an universal home theater remote for home cinema which is targeted at multi-devices
