About this deal

No matter how much laughter people laugh with me each day without yours, its like I have not seen anyone yet, but whenever you laugh with me it set my heart on fire. You have set my heart on fire ever since the day I set my eyes on you my love. Notes on Love provides fantastic insight and wise and witty advice, not just about dating in a digital age but also about building healthy relationships more generally. If you have friends or even kids of dating age who are fed up with “helpful advice” from you or others who don’t have a clue, this book would be the perfect gift.’ - Cathy Madavan, author and speaker Before I fall asleep, I always picture what it would feel like to fall asleep in your arms. It's the best feeling in the world. Keep love in your heart. A life without it is like a sunless garden when the flowers are dead." – Oscar Wilde

But they were just really cute. I'm here for it. I'm very sure I'd give up my trust fund for them. No question. When I first saw you, I was overwhelmed with warmth. Only later I realized this is how falling in love feels like. And you still tingle the butterflies in my stomach every day! I was given a free copy of this book through the Goodreads giveaway program. This does not in any way affect my opinion. I try to express only my most honest opinion in a spoiler-free way. Unfortunately, there is still always a risk of slight spoilers despite my best efforts. If you feel something in my review is a spoiler please let me know. Thank you. I know things haven’t been the best between us lately. I want to make sure you know how much I value our relationship.

It was kinda boring at times so I skimmed quite a bit. I think the main reason I couldn’t connect to the characters was because of the third person pov. I feel like if I hadn’t read it in one day it would’ve sat there unfinished lol. It felt a little too insta lovey for my tastes but I guess that’s the point of the book 🤷🏻‍♀️

Know that it’s okay to be vulnerable. Tell your partner how much their love means to you and that you’re willing to do whatever it takes to show them how you feel. One thing: There were two or three times where something kind of dramatic happened, and I just didn't care. At these moments, I wanted to be like [D':], but I could only manage a [\: okay]. I think the writing was too impersonal at times and I couldn't feel anything. A few years ago I read Smith's The Geography of You and Me and absolutely loved it. I had forgotten just how much I enjoy her writing style, how warm and approachable it is, and how well she draws her characters. Field Notes on Love is exactly the same way—nothing in the plot is particularly surprising, but that doesn't matter, because I couldn't get enough of this book and these characters. You are the cure to my life. Just getting to spend time with you gives me life. Your smile lifts me up when I am down. Your touch eases my worries. My life is now so full, thanks to you. I don’t know what tomorrow will bring, but I hope we’ll find out together. I want you by my side every day for the rest of our days because I love you crazy. Love Notes for Girlfriend

Everyone's choices seemed pretty reasonable, and I couldn't imagine anything happening in any other way. So five stars. I will never ask you to change for me, because you are perfect just the way you are, my sweet princess I love you once, and will still love you , always have and always will cheers. Chances are he does! But even if he doesn’t, that’s his loss! Whatever the case might be, you should wear your heart on the sleeve and tell him how you feel! You put the smiles in my day and the happiness in my life. Because of you, each day feels like Christmas morning! Love arrives / and in its train come ecstasies / old memories of pleasure / ancient histories of pain. / Yet if we are bold, / love strikes away the chains of fear / from our souls. / We are weaned from our timidity / In the flush of love's light / we dare be brave / And suddenly we see / that love costs all we are / and will ever be. / Yet it is only love / which sets us free." — "Touched by an Angel," Maya Angelou

I tried my best to like this one. But meh! I have read enough YA books to last a lifetime for such rerepeats. The book was pretty luring. I always wanted to read it. So how interesting was the book? Very. Five stars. Good morning! Another day of thinking about you. Save me some good morning kisses; I'll take them later in person! My soul saw you and it kind of went, "Oh, there you are. I've been looking for you."—Iain S. Thomas, "I Wrote This For You"
