About this deal

The Shodai Kitetsu is one of the 12 Saijo Ô Wazamono. It is part of the cursed swords created by Kitetsu along with the Nidai Kitetsu and the Sandai Kitetsu. It hasn’t made an appearance yet. Shodai literally means “First Generation” because the Shodai Kitetsu is the first sword in the Kitetsu series. She is unknown, but she must have an appearance quite similar to that of the Sandai Kitetsu. The most recent addition to Zoro’s arsenal, Enma used to belong to Oden and has proved to be his most valuable asset in the ongoing fight against Kaido and his forces. The sword can draw out an impressive amount of Busoshoku Haki, which has allowed Zoro to develop considerably as a fighter. Zoro will need to get the most out of all his current swords if he and the rest of the Straw Hats want to come out of Wana as victors. As one of the 12 highest quality Meito, the Saijo Ô Wazamono, Ace is a superior blade, one of the strongest and toughest ever forged, only equaled by the other eleven Saijo Ô Wazamono. At the time, Ace was used by the former Pirate King for most of his life and during many of his exploits, from the God Valley Incident, through his multiple fights against Edward Newgate, who also possessed one of the 12 First Rank Blades, Murakumogiri. Two unnamed katana that he used alongside the Wado Ichimonji for an unknown period of time. They were destroyed during Zoro’s first duel with Dracule Mihawk. 5. Sandai Kitetsu The jihada is the grain pattern within the steel, resulting from the repeated folding of the steel during forging. It appears as intricate patterns, such as masame (straight grain), mokume (wood pattern grain), itame hada (plank pattern grain), nashiji (pear skin grain), and ayasugi (undulating wave grain). Some blades feature one type of grain, but a blade often features a mix of grain patterns.

Wado Ichimonji is the sword that Zoro has used the most throughout the series, given to him by his late childhood friend, Kuina. It’s a sword that holds sentimental value for Zoro and has played an important role in his growth as a swordsman. Shusui, on the other hand, is one of the strongest swords currently in Zoro’s arsenal, known for its hardness and durability. After he saw it, Kin'emon became determined to challenge Zoro so the sword could be returned to Wano Country. While at a restaurant in Acacia, Shusui was stolen by a dwarf named Wicca. [3] Zoro caught the dwarf and reclaimed his sword. The Wado Ichimonji is far and above Zoro's most beloved treasure. Zoro grew up at a dojo in a small village in the East Blue, where he would constantly get bested by the top student, Kuina, in duels. The two made a promise to each other that one day, one of them would hold the title of World's Greatest Swordsman, but an untimely accident took Kuina's life. Zoro begged his master, and Kuina's father, for her daughter's sword. Now in possession of the Wado Ichimonji, he promised his name would reach the heavens, for both his sake and the promise he made to Kuina. Zoro has kept Wado Ichimonji ever since, and it is far and above, his most relied upon weapon. The following is a list of blades that are confirmed to be ungraded ( 位列なし , iretsu nashi ?). These blades are not recognized for any special quality, but this does not mean they are not powerful weapons; it has been stated that the kanabo Hassaikai, though ungraded, would be renowned as legendary for the many feats Kaidou has performed with it. [11]Nidai Kitetsu: Nidai Kitetsu is a sword that is one of the 21 swords in the Ô Wazamono category. It is part of the cursed swords created by Kitetsu along with the Shodai Kitetsu and the Sandai Kitetsu. It was forged by Kotetsu. Little is known about the Nidai Kitetsu and its abilities. However, this saber must also be powerful and resistant since it is part of the 21 O Wazamono. Gryphon is a saber belonging to Shanks. Gryphon is a longer than average saber, with a long green handle and beige hilt. Shanks keeps it in a blue holster clipped to his waist on the right side. Gryphon is a powerful saber, standing up to Edward Newgate’s bisento. This conflict released such force that it split the clouds of the sky in two, but the sword was not damaged at all. When coated in Haki, he can resist Sakazuki’s lava. 4. Shodai Kitetsu One Piece Manga and Anime — Vol. 21 Chapter 195 (p. 19-21) and Episode 119, Zoro defeats Mr. 1 with Shishi Sonson. Roronoa Zoro is a swordsman, first and foremost. As such, he has wielded 6 proper swords in the entirety of One Piece. This doesn’t include his other blade weapons such as a cutlass and a tanto he had been forced to use as the situation called for. Nor does it include the time when he borrowed Nakiri swords from Johnny and Yusaku during his battle against Hachan. I mean, the guy might be indisposed but he can’t fight without his beloved swords by his side.

There are currently four known grades of Meito. Supreme Grade, of which there are 12; Great Grade, of which there are 21; Skillful Grade of which there are 50; and Grade, of which there is a currently unknown number. Some Meito are ungraded, but still renowned. The jigane is the steel on the surface of a Japanese sword. Its appearance varies greatly, usually in color, texture, pattern of forging structure ( jihada), and other features. Here are the unique characteristics of the jigane and the Japanese terms used to describe its features: Structure and Composition Ipponmatsu has a good relationship with his wife. He calls her "honey" and "dear" and cleans the bathtub for her. However, Ipponume thinks that he is a "cheapskate".Kashu is a sword that belonged to Baroque Works agent Mr. 11. After losing it in a duel against Tashigi, the latter retrieved the sword. He is part of the Ryo Wazamono class. It is unknown how powerful this sword is, since it has never been seen used in combat, but it must be quite powerful since it is part of the 50 Ryo Wazamono. 16. Sandai Kitetsu One Piece Manga and Anime — Vol. 11 Chapter 97 (p. 13) and Episode 49, Tashigi explains the ranking of the Kitetsu swords. As mentioned earlier, Zoro is known for his impressive sword fighting skills and is often seen wielding multiple swords in battle. Despite being famous for his “Three Sword Style”, Zoro has shown proficiency in using even just one or two swords. Throughout the series, Zoro has used a total of seven different swords, with one getting destroyed later on. One Piece Manga and Anime — Vol. 90 Chapter 909 (p. 14-17) and Episode 892, Zoro stands on trial for his possession of Shusui. Zoro would continue to wield the sword in countless battles against powerful enemies such as Daz Bonez, Enel, Kaku, Ryuma, Oars, Bartholomew Kuma, Hody Jones, Pica, Kaidou, and King.

The Wado Ichimonji is a sword of great personal importance to Roronoa Zoro, and it was once Kuina's and her family's sword. It is also one of the 21 O Wazamono grade swords. After Oden's death, Enma was inherited by his daughter, Kozuki Hiyori. Hiyori would later gift the sword to Roronoa Zoro in exchange for the latter allowing Shusui, a national treasure, to remain in Wano. Still, some appearances of the jihada may be the unique characteristic of a certain swordsmith or school. The uniformity and fineness of the jihada suggests that the blade is of high quality. Still, it does not necessarily mean that a larger, structured jihada is of lesser quality. Prefixes ko– and o– describe its smaller or larger size, respectively, such as ko-itame (small itame hada). Ji-nie (Formations of Large Crystals) Jumyo katana blade with evident ji-nie – Credits: Mandarin Mansion AntiquesWhile the term "Meito" only really indicates that a blade has a name, it generally appears that a blade being recognized by a name is indicative of its high quality and prestige, resulting in them being quite valuable, with the Grade Sword Sandai Kitetsu being valued at 1,000,000 and the Great Grade Sword Wado Ichimonji valued at 10,000,000. [1] In contrast to unnamed mass-produced bladed weapons, Meito tend to be uniquely designed and individually created by skilled swordsmiths. Because of this, Meito are generally wielded by powerful combatants skilled in the ways of the blade, who bring fame to their blade along with themselves; it is said that a blade chooses its wielder. Blade wielding skill is an absolute necessity with the highest-graded Meito, which are known for being notoriously difficult to wield with some being labeled as a " Cursed/Demonic Blade" ( 妖刀 , Yōtō ?).
