It's then up to you to decide the travelling position of the car seat. As these are i-Size tested car seats, it is to be used rear-facing for a minimum of 15 months and 76cm tall. After this point, it can be used forward facing, but we would recommend rear-facing for as long as possible. Patented reclining headrest – The 3 position reclining headrest helps prevent the child’s head from falling forward while asleep. The Sirona Z is both rearward facing and forward facing but as it is an i-Size car seat, your baby must stay rearward facing until at least 15 months of age. It's alsoequipped with Driving Direction Control D.D.C, which prevents any misuse of the forward-facing position. In reality, this means it will not allow the seat to fully rotate forward until the harness is set to a minimum of 76cm (the approx height of a 15-month-old). Your only other job is to extend the support leg until it touches the footwell and the green indicator at the front of the base turns to green.
