Rosina Zambon was a strong-willed and enterprising lady, she was born in Arborea in Sardinia, the daughter of Venetian immigrants who had settled on the island in the 1930's following the land reclamation projects of the Facist era. Our Italian range includes exclusive and hard to find products such as Bellini, Torrone, Cantuccini, Panettone and more. Finally, the addition of sugar and grappa of great quality is made that makes this Limoncino unique and unmistakable. Our delicious liqueur is produced according to an old South Italian recipe and extracted from the oils of lemon zest. Limoncino Bottega is a “limoncello”, traditional Italian liqueur, dating back to the end of the nineteenth century.
Lemon yellow in appearance, with flavours of grappa, lemon peel, hints of vanilla and a rich texture from the milk cream, this after-dinner drink is smooth and luscious. The lemons are grown naturally and picked at the peak of ripeness, washed and peeled by hand, removing the white part (bitter) and only selecting the yellow peel which is rich in essential oils. We also produce crafted liqueurs and spirits, including our Bacûr Dry Gin, and non-alcoholic products.
For this extremely fruity liqueur, mainly the lemon variety Femminello, which is widespread in Italy, is used. Ten years later, in 1977, they founded Distilleria Bottega, giving their name to a business that absorbed them both completely.
