About this deal
Boss Number One EDT is a traditional aromatic fougere fragrance for men that uses honey and tobacco to add interest and elegant edge. The general feel of this scent as it progresses is one of simplicity and a mature sweetness and freshness. It then develops into a warm and masculine heart note of honey, cinnamon, and jasmine, adding a sophisticated and sensual dimension.
Boss Number One begins with fresh and Bergamot, Artemisia, Juniper, Lemon, mouthwatering Green Apple, Caraway, Basil and a slight hint of Grapefruit.
I won't take back what I said above, as it is still rather uninteresting, just a bit less so when sprayed. Released in 1985 this aromatic fragrance boasts main accords of woody, fresh spicy, honey and tabacco Notes.
It has tons of honey, for sure, so it reminds me of "Givenchy Gentleman" (and maybe just a minute spec of Kouros). After a couple of hours or so a more 'earthy' smell begins to emerge - possibly from the patchouli or the oakmoss and something richer, more woody - likely the sandalwood element.
The Hugo Boss Classic, or Number 1, was a projection beast that would last at least 8-10 hours on me. Many products with the Premium Beauty badge are also used by professionals in salons and spas but are designed and available for home use. This fragrance is utterly ridiculous, it's soooo good, if you haven't tried it then I highly recommend you do.
