I'm a big fan of these Pop Classic picturebooks and was excited to see brilliant 90's festive Home Alone also included in the range. The original is definitely better, and that's thanks to the way Kevin is treated by the family members.

The only part I thought was a good change is that Kevin is forced to run to Marley's basement at the the end rather than The Murphys. If I had children I would definitely read it to them and - of course - show them the movie since I still think that the movie is much better than the book.
