About this deal

I’m fairly new to fragrance, as in trying to understand it and enjoy fragrance like a hobby, but I’ve owned colognes, etc since at least middle school.

My father used to have the old sticker version in the 90’s, multiple bottles over years, to the extent that this scent summarises my childhood and represents an era. This is Italian perfumery and class through and through, this is recommended for older guys but if you have a serious and professional demeanor even as a younger guy you can pull this off and smell like the smartest, strongest and most classy guy in the room. I've heard this said of perfumes I quite enjoy, like Chanel Allure Homme Edition Blanche, so I dismissed this particular criticism as one only made by the fragrance laity; but this fragrance smells like citrus-scented floor/toilet cleaner.

I’m wearing this in the colder months and it still stands up to the cold with good projection and sillage. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. This iconic fragrance is housed in simple, sleek glass bottle that is as elegant as the man who owns it.I think it is more of a warm weather frag but it held up very well in the freezing cold of where I live. I just dont understand why it seems every designer fragrance does not last as long as fragrances made just 5 years ago. This is a true 90's holdover (like Acqua Di Gio), but in my mind it's a classic, even though the scent doesn't last as long as some would like. Man I remember the first time I had a bottle of the stuff was in 2009 when they had the metal plaque on the front. La proyección que transmite es de alguien seguro e interesante, lo cual a los hombres nos encanta mostrar.

Oranges, Bergamot, Lemons and Neroli remind me of the sun-drenched beaches of the Mediterranean coast. I was quite familiar with the Germany and UK reformulations, but thought that it may have been an older bottle. Unfortunately, because of it being reformulated to death, it’s not as potent as the original version.

I am lucky enough to still have an older bottle (2012-2014) very beautiful summer citrus fresh scent. Recently I purchased this MADE IN UK 2012< version and as a fan of the older Italian version with the sticker , I have to say: DG pour Homme is a disgrace of the vintage version! Please note that this service might transfer the data outside of the EU/EEA and to a country without the required data protection standards.

Due to its freshness it can be used all year around night or day, but it is best during transitional seasons and winter. This scent is pretty nice, but like I said citruses are not a fav for me, but this one has grown on me a bit. The fragrance is an intimate scent and doesn't protect amazingly on my skin but is a great inoffensive everyday scent. I can only hope this is a fake but I don't think so, so if anyone is interested I could be persuaded to sell my 6.

It is an olfactory portrait of the Latin lover, able to project into the collective imagination the iconic power of irrestistible sex appeal and tenderness. So the good old simple pure days are back, they have a scent of their own, and it is not made in the UK! It’s not burnt tobacco but rather something like freshly-cut tobacco leaves, or maybe the flowers of a tobacco plant.
