The process used to make Bushmills all starts from malt barley, and is grinded into mash and then mixed with hot water to make wort. The essential Bushmills 10 Year Old comprises a marriage of spirits aged for at least a decade in ex-bourbon barrels and sherry butts. Bushmills 10 year old single malt whiskey is triple distilled from 100% malted barley and matured for at least 10 years in sherry and bourbon seasoned barrels, which give it a honey, vanilla and milk chocolate flavours.
