Highland Nectar is made from a finely crafted recipe combining the character of the finest Highland Scotch whisky with an array of characterful herbs and spices to create a rich and sumptuous whisky liqueur.The toffee notes morph into spiced spongecake batter, stirred through with sultanas and extra brown sugar.

The toffee becomes cinder toffee as vanilla builds, backed up by green, leafy herbal notes of tarragon. On the palate the flavour starts with candied ginger, orange peel, allspice, maple syrup and a whisper of star anise.With it’s added herbs and spices, I find similarities with this and my whisky based recipe for hot toddy.
