About this deal

Pre alarm’ early warnings show on a digital LCD screen with reduced-volume chirps before full-alarm mode is reached, giving you more time to respond to rising CO levels. You may not, except with our express written permission, distribute or commercially exploit the content. The FireAngel FA3322 battery-powered carbon monoxide (CO) alarm comes with a built-in sealed battery and the manufacturer tells us it will last for 10 years. Carbon Monoxide (CO) is an invisible, odourless and tasteless gas that is toxic to humans and is often referred to as the “silent killer” because it cannot be detected without the use of a carbon monoxide detector or alarm. In Scotland from Oct 2013, a CO alarm is mandatory when any type of fixed combustion appliance is installed (excluding appliances solely used for cooking) or replaced in a new or existing home and where a flue passes through high risk accommodation, such as a bedroom or living room.

To switch between the two displays you can press the test button – during this time the alarm will display the peak CO levels recorded by the alarm over the last 4 weeks. The FA3322 also includes environmental monitoring features, such as a temperature and humidity alert function which provides a warning for prolonged dangerous environmental conditions. It’s created in our homes when the fuel in products, such as boilers, fires and ovens does not burn completely. A Carbon Monoxide (CO) alarm is the only way to alert residents to the presence of Carbon Monoxide within a property.

The FA3322-EUX10 alarm cannot be interlinked to other alarms in your home, but still offers the highest protection.

You will be advised of how the product will be exchanged or if applicable when a refund will be issued. With a digital display, the latest sensing technology, and BSI Kitemark approval, the FA3322-EU offers the highest level of CO detection for your home and replaces end-of-life CO-9D alarms. Your landlord will need to ensure as a tenant you have a working carbon monoxide alarm 1-3 metres away from any fuel burning appliances in a room (excluding gas cookers) and that any faults or repairs are carried out on the alarm in a timely manner.Full details of modes, operation, trigger levels, the interoperation of these features and how to use them can be found in the User Manual. Near an appliance: they should be placed within 1 to 3 metres horizontally from the appliance and between the height of the appliance to 150mm below the ceiling – i. CO is a gas which cannot be seen, tasted or smelt but can result in CO poisoning and illness or in some cases death. Examples include boilers, coal fires, wood burners, and gas ovens and cookers, though an exception is often made in legislation for gas appliances solely used for cooking. Our FireAngel Carbon Monoxide (CO) detectors are designed so that alarms can be wall-mounted or left freestanding within a property.
