The composition of the Black Afgano Eau de Parfum opens with accords of the dry green aroma of cannabis, complemented by notes of resin and wood combined with tobacco, as well as the bitter aroma of roasted coffee.

Smells like something a rough rider with a leather jacket and a mean mug would wear—it's super dark, burly, and rough. Unpopular opinion: I think it is more a summer perfume than a winter one, especially because of the images it evokes with its ingredients (desert, hot places).

One side note: the atomizers for Nasomatto used to be great, but my 2022 batch of Black Afgano has a very banal atomizer (not necessarily faulty, just not one that can be controlled with the smallest "tap" like my older bottles can). There's still something that I like about it though, in all its anger and brooding, and I feel like the right person could definitely pull it off.something about the balancing of the different notes and accords here just brings a smile on my face; reminding me of waking up after a night of drinking, and lighting some incense in the bedroom to mask the smell of something we may or may not have taken (its still ilegal in my home country) mixed in with the musky and musty smell of the previous evening’s steady night cap.
