I've received several compliments on it over the couple of months that I've owned it but I must say. It honestly doesn’t smell synthetic at all to me, in fact it’s among the most natural and well blended I’ve ever smelled, as far as designers go it’s THE most natural, I compare it with Creed and Tom Ford as far as quality and how well it’s blended. Said it smelled exactly like an orange scented toilet or floor cleaner her parents used all her life.

This is also probably the one John Varvatos release that actually has some good longevity, at least, for a Varvatos. Opens exhilaratingly with a beautiful refreshing blast of highly realistic tangerine riding a wave of neroli under a bright base of woods. It has almost no sillage and poor longevity however, to a point where it's barely worth putting on your body.but this fragrance is interesting and the opening is very nice so just for that I give JV Artisan a thumbs up. Think about how terrible that sounds, imagine being around someone who sprayed a fragrance 17 times. Also, the box itself is very nice too, such as the cap - heavy, metal (not that) stuff with an engraved "John Varvatos Artisan" sign (the sprayer has it, too). This is the most orangey fragrance I have ever smelled aside from Cacharel's Liberte (a female fragrance).

But that being said I almost get no use out of it since it’s doesnt always express what I’d like to project to the world. Sadly, the longevity is extremely poor on my dry skin, maximum 2-3 hours with no projection at all, even with 5 sprays on my neck. Performance is moderate with me getting about 3-4 hours of noticeably scent which isn’t a problem if you reapply with an atomizer. Well I've finally sampled John Varvartos fragrances and superficially I've been very satisfied with them.Once John Varvatos Artisan Men EDT has reached its full dry-down, it can be summarized as a very low projection, citrus (clementine, tangerine), white floral (orange blossom) and spicy (ginger, marjoram, thyme) fragrance with very soft woody and floral accords. An ultra clean effect that brings to mind a handsome,very well groomed, just shaved man straight from the barbers. Perfumes with natural ingredients often smell different in batches based on the source of the ingredients, while synthetic ingredients usually have consistency in their smell and lasts longer.

Guess my husband just has excellent body chemistry because this one REALLY projects and lasts on him. If you have a non-BNPL balance, you will still need to make at least your minimum payment as shown on your statement. a greeny, slightly metallic note and that mixed with a white floral that plainly, just isn't very nice and certainly a contrast from the lovely opening. my mum who said its alright smelled it on me and said thats amazing and i told her what it is and shes in love with it, she told me its better then any other cologne i have. The only highlight is the woven rattan bottle design, very nice to hold and piece of art, too bad, not the juice, too simple, too plain and yet too common.This is super gorgeous, bright citrus, woody scent mixed with ginger that I enjoy more than artisan pure tbh. I decided to wear this in January colder weather because it's sweet, and boy did I make a huge breakthrough! i asked the girl that i was with on that day on as to which one smells better and she told me that my artisan smells better then grey vetiver prada amber and aqva amara combined and i was blown away.
