To me, fragrances like Pink Sugar, Fantasy, Manifesto are sugary, even the famous Angel is more sugary (burnt sugar) than Candy. The young woman next to me is in business casual with a yoga mat slung over her shoulder, Adele bleeding out from those little white apple earbuds, and this fragrance on her camel wool coat. I wouldn’t make the investment if you are wanting something that is very long lasting or that trails and lingers behind you.

My first-ever "real" fragrance when I finally had disposable income, so I'm very biased, but I do have a strong love for this one! I’ve gone back and smelled it a few times after, thinking it would be different but it’s just not pleasant at all.For those of you who come from former Soviet states, Candy will most likely remind of boiled condensed milk.

Which is why people looking into this fragrance, expecting something super gourmand/youthful, are mostly disappointed.I expected this to smell like straight caramel, but it doesn't and I'm ok with that because it's comforting scent too. Modernist geometric patterns and sleek lines decorate Prada plates that define the table together with bowls, soup plates, and dessert plates made of very fine porcelain. Everytime I've worn it, people have gone absolutely crazy about this fragrance whenever I would be next to them, so saying it has no projection is a little bit odd to me. It's kinda a classic, a great first scent and a must have, at least once I guess, for powdery lovers like me.

The only way this would be evocative of 'sex' on me is if my lover went "Hey, you smell EXACTLY like an infant! She probably doesn't remember me, but every time I see her on TV I remember that she introduced me to this glorious fragrance.The musk can provide softness and depth to the sweetness of the caramel, preventing it from becoming overly cloying or intense.
