If you like ultra sweet, feminine, and floral day scents and you really like the early 2000s/Britney this might be for you however, I personally would not recommend it. I remember the pear, jasmine, lotus and magnolia blending beautifully and the dry down held those notes with a little added musk. Consequently, I went into this experience fearing to smell a Clinique Happy knockoff (which is, unfortunately, one of the headiest and worst perfumes I've ever smelled), and found myself met with something clean, bright, and reminiscent of springtime in my childhood!

It’s a total home run in terms of post-shower, pre-bedtime fragrance: effortlessly calming, with a sensuality that feels delicate, intimate.Upon first spray it does smell VERY sharp in a way which makes my nose itch but after a few minutes that itch goes away but on my skin it takes an hour or so for it to smell nice as within the first hour I think it smells cheap and like a cleaning product, after a few hours it does remind me slightly of a cheap version of jadore as another reviewer said when the smell softens down. I quickly went through my first bottle and then bought every kind of special edition that I could find, including one with a beach bag as a gift (that I still use), a fragrance roll-on/lip gloss duo, perfume stick, body lotion, body wash. It’s also giving a little bit pool water… and hair spray… And the pear in this is like a neon green hard candy filled with chemicals. The scent opens with top notes of pear, lotus and magnolia, middles notes are pink cyclamen, Jasmine and tuberose.

Though my collection is small I rotate what I use pretty frequently to avoid getting tired of any of them, and Curious is no exception - I purposefully haven't allowed it to become my signature scent so I can continue to love it for years to come. I bought it again not only for the nostalgia but also because it was a beautiful perfume for spring and summer. This was my very first perfume that I picked out for myself completely by myself after sampling many.on most days jasmine is my sworn enemy as it gives me an instantaneous headache (but there are a handful of exceptions so I'm assuming it's the concentration of jasmine in a given product that determines whether I can tolerate it or not as opposed to the jasmine itself), but here despite the many different floral elements it never come across as overbearing, thanks to the heavy cloud of sweetness that sits on top. This is a lightly sweet, fresh floral scent, best for a young audience, but nicer than your average vanilla/floral/sugar bomb celebrity fragrances. Britney Spears' Curious is a lively, bright and effervescent fruity floral, aimed at twentysomethings with attitude. I can definitely smell the lotus and pear, but curiously, the vanilla (always a reliable base note) is missing to me. I’ve actually been thinking about adding it to my collection again because I miss it and have been thinking about it a lot.
