About this deal

But after their beloved ballet teacher Miss Finch suddenly disappears and strange Madame Zelda takes her place, freakish things start happening. Poison letters are circulating the school, and 'accidents' are plaguing the students. It seems that the girls are in danger once more I was able to get in touch with the author of Scarlet and Ivy, Sophie Cleverly, to ask her some questions about the series and her plans for the future.

Rookwood Okulu hapishane gibiydi. Bayan Fox’un çok katı kuralları gece tuvalete gitmemeye kadar uzanıyordu. Ivy, Scarlet’in odasını keşfetmeye başladığında yatağında bir sertlik hisseder. Bu, Scarlet’i bulmak için tek şansı olabilir. Bir günlük... It’s summer and as a special treat after the horrors of last term Mrs Knight announces a school trip to Shady Pines Hotel on the shores of Lake Seren. Scarlet and Ivy are thrilled to get away from Rookwood for a break!

When possessions and food start going missing, and the finger of suspicion is pointed firmly at troublemaking Scarlet, she knows she must uncover the truth to clear her name. SC: I am definitely more like Ivy, I think. I am quite shy and bookish but have the occasional urge to have fun and go on adventures! But I have to say that Scarlet is my favorite twin to write as I sort of live vicariously through her. She isn’t afraid to stand up for herself and loves getting in all sorts of trouble. GM: Finally, my nine-year-old son would like to ask what made you choose to add in the character of Rose in The Whispers in the Walls?

I loved Ivy (the main charcater) and timid Ariadne very muchhhh❤️. I even loved the evil Mrs.Fox . She was a teacher but was a headmistress in this book because the headmaster was on a vacation😂There was an amazing plot twist too which shook me❤️❤️ This book was so GRIPPING!!!!!! I think that this series is going to impress me😂 The ending was a bit loose but I liked it😂 A letter arrives for Ivy telling her she can take Scarlet’s place at the school. Little does Ivy know she will be not only taking Scarlet’s place, but becoming Scarlet herself! She has to pretend to be her sister. Pushy, loud, feisty and even rude! Confused and scared of the imposing Miss Fox who has demanded this of her, Ivy settles in to Scarlet’s old room at the school, and discovers part of a diary from Scarlet. Something’s not right about all this, and Scarlet’s words prove it.If you've been following me for any length of time, you'll know that one of the biggest points in any book for me is character development. In MG fiction, that's even more important. A character needs to grow, to change, and to find themselves in situations that cause them to step outside the box. Cleverly has that down pat. Ivy's character was brilliant. Quiet, meek Ivy learned so much about herself while posing as her much more outgoing sister, Scarlet. I loved watching her come out of her shell, and face down the danger. All for the love of her sibling.

BRAVO! Truly, a around of applause is owed to Sophie Cleverly and The Lost Twin. I'm well out of the age range that this book is aimed at, but I absolutely adored every bit of it! I can only imagine how much excitement younger Jessica would have had, upon discovering this story. So many things I love are expertly wrapped up in here. Forbidding boarding schools, terrible headmistresses, brave girls, and tons of secrets. What more could a reader ask for? I can’t say much more, I don’t have any major complaints. It was just a good book, with characters I liked and a story that stayed interesting. I think anyone over the age of ten could enjoy it. olan 1. kitaptan sonra hemen 2, 3, 4, 5 ve 6. kitaplarını arka arkaya okumak. Bunu gerçekleştireceğim ve bütün sırların arkasında ne olduğunu öğreneceğim. Umarım siz de bu serüvende bana eşlik edersiniz :) When troublesome Scarlet mysteriously disappears from Rookwood School, terrifying Miss Fox invites her quiet twin sister Ivy to ‘take her place’.Just as things are seeming to improve at Rookwood, the girls’ beloved ballet teacher Miss Finch disappears. The mysterious Madame Zelda takes her place, and poison pen letters begin to circulate around the school, reaching both pupils and staff. The girls decide to investigate and discover a story of revenge. But rumours swirl like ghosts around Ebony, and not all of them are nice. And when a prank on All Hallow’s Eve goes horribly wrong, it’s Ebony who gets the blame.
