About this deal

This discovery is going to send me down the rabbit-hole in an effort to find more fragrances that have a similar composition. It smells great from the bottle and when hanging in the air after spraying, as soon as it touches my skin it turns revolting unfortunately. Great projection and longevity can be seen in this with the overall warm and spicy feel where there is a perfect blend of these spicy, fresh and warm notes to make it special and unique. Its opening is spicy, but it is so well combined with vanilla and cardamom that all these spices become poetry.

It is for a self-assured woman like a literary punk rocker, if that makes sense, though it's not particularly feminine to my nose. With this the user can measure the advertising ROI as well as track Flash, video, and social networking sites and applications. It is a touch less spicy and cinnamon (I know, it's not a listed note, but it features in batch 3XO1) and a bit smoother. Also, there are no discernible notes of cinnamon or ginger which would qualify this concoction as christmasy or chai-ish. It’s so light and airy, a perfect warm weather spiced scent for those of us who gravitate toward cold weather frags.

The vanilla is quite fluffy and very creamy, and really fills your nose, similar to the vanilla note in Mancera Vanille Exclusive (just the vanilla not the perfume), albeit less prominent and slightly less dense. It’s not exactly spicy and powerful in the empowering designer way, but it’s unusual and smile-inducing once it’s dries down a bit. Unfortunately, what I got instead is an elephant, trumpeting loud as she's munching on cardamom seeds and letting huge chunks of thick vanilla custard slide down her massive throat.Jungle opens with a warm, spicy-orange accord that deftly avoids pot pourri or Christmas associations. Two sprays from a travel flacon and my first thought was the scene in the film Jumanji with the herd of stampeding elephants and rhinos that trample everything in their path. Sweetened in perfect accords of vanilla and amber, all beautifully combined with that exquisite mango wrapped in Ylang-ylang creating a warm and slightly floral aura.

These days, I get a fascinating mix of cinnamon-camphor warmth (reminiscent of Tiger Balm), nutty cardamom, creamy tropical florals, and milky vanilla. You can smell the warmth of the spices all the way through but well blended with the sweetness creaminess. To the point where I need to think carefully about the environments I’m going to find myself in while wearing it, lest I overwhelm people with my fragrance. This is Christmas in a bottle and at first I thought this will only suit cold weather, but it actually works in Summertime as well. I get anise, dark brown sugar, a very lovely patchouli, masterfully blended flowers so that gardenia doesn’t ruin everything, and heaps of cinnamon.edit -- even though i don't care for this scent due to the heavy clove, i can tell this is well made and will likely try more from kenzo at some point.
