How to find activities on Over Fifties Friends

Category Search - The activity category search is found via a tab in the top right of the Activities main page (Activities in the left menu). Clicking on the "Category Search" tab brings up a small search box. Just put in a key word, for example "golf" and then select a category from the drop down menu. There is also the possibility to search in "All" categories here. Then click the "Search" button.

Geographical Search - You can also search for activities according to geographical location. This search is found via a tab in the top right of the Activities main page (Activities in the left menu). Clicking on the "Geog Search" tab brings up a small search box. Here you can choose to put in a key word (not obligatory) and/or a location. You can put a town or postcode. If you live in a small village, it might be wise to put the nearest town. Most post codes are recognised. You can then select a "Distance from location" using the drop down menu. So, for example, you might put in the keyword "dining", then "Gloucester" and "25 miles". Then just click the "Search" button. This example search would bring up any activities that members have organised that include the word "dining" and are taking place within a 25 mile radius of Gloucester (centre).
