The battery lasts for quite a while too, maybe 24-72 hours on constant usage before it needs charging depending on how much noise your baby makes. I was really excited to test this audio monitor out with my 6 month old boy/girl twins, who are currently sharing a cot bed in our bedroom. The Audio Baby Monitor 450 includes a nightlight, temperature display, lightshow projection, feed timer and talk back option.

Only downside is the volume doesn't go too loud but loud enough for you to be aware if there is unrest with baby.Have switched to larger rechargeable batteries that last longer than 1 night but don’t use the charger with the unit to recharge, better to take them out and use a proper battery charger. As was fully described, minor damage to packaging as depicted, but item is unaffected, contents complete and appears be to be in full working condition so far.

This unit also features sound level LED lights for when you don't want to hear every snuffle but want to be alerted. A reliable audio monitor with crystal clear sound that will give you piece of mind that you are always connected to your little one(s). Both thermometers were continuously 1-3 degrees lower than the BT 450 which deemed it pointless and misleading. There is no need to mount it to the wall and the chargers have long cables that can reach sockets and tables. We are approaching the idea of moving them into their own cots in another bedroom, so a reliable monitor is essential.Absolutely trivial to set up, good looking build quality and while it is clearly a baby monitor if you look at it, it's understated and doesn't look embarrassing to adult eyes. It's fine if you are just watching tv or something but if I am doing something a bit noisier (cooking, washing up etc) then I sometime struggle to hear. We love that the monitor can be muted, but will still give a gentle beep if sound is detected in baby’s room - we find this is gives us a more peaceful night as our baby ‘chirps’ quite a bit in her sleep. I actually found that I was using this monitor as our main monitor and our Philips Avent smart one just to take a quick peek if they were crying before tending to them. The parent unit can still be used while it is charging and unlike previous models, there is no docking station.
