Are the daily email alerts that Over Fifties Friends sends to member sa useful reminder or just a pain?!
Well, only you, our members, can decide that... Every member who has a private message on the site or a friend request from another member, gets an email alert to inform them of this. These alerts are automatic and are meant for just that - informational purposes. They are sent out at 17.00 every day.
The email contains a link to take you to the message(s) and/or friend request in question. You can switch your daily email alerts on or off in your profile. Once you are logged in, just click on "Me" in the left menu, and you are taken to the "Settings" tab from within the "Update profile" section of your member account. See the image below. Where it says "Email alerts", just click the down arrow and select OFF to turn these off (or ON to put them back on). Simple as that!

If you are having any trouble with this, click here to contact us, or click on the Contact link at the top of the page.
