Other design missteps include the unnecessarily widened cyber-font used on the keys, which does little but take down the class a notch, and the rather small feet which make next to no difference to the keyboard's angle, but do make it slide around a little more than when the full footprint of the silicon pads underneath are in contact with your desk.

SE is a premium mechanical gaming keyboard built to last, with silver aluminum frame, CHERRY MX Speed keyswitches, white PBT double-shot keycaps and stunning per-key RGB dynamic backlighting. The typing quality with the Cherry MX Brown switches we reviewed is great, but you can get the switches you prefer. There’s a lot of making selections only to have them not apply because you failed to drag-drop them to some other confusing profile menu. Obviously, this is more or less personal preference, but having a half height Enter key makes a lot more sense to me. Low profile switches seem like an interesting choice for a desktop keyboard so we put it to the test to find out how well it performs.
