The Brother CS7000X has the “newer” needle threader, which I do think is a bit easier to use and will likely last longer than the “older” style needle threader still on the XR9550. The XR9550 does have more stitches and the lettering font, though, if that’s something that’s also very important for you. Otherwise, both are threaded, set up, and used in similar fashions.
