I felt like that was supposed to be foreshadowing, especially since the really cheesy, actually terrible line "she never told him her name" was used. i really wish the games had taken up much more of the book - i found them so interesting - but i cant complain because the last 25% or so gave the reader so much. Second, the last 50 pages of the book were actually quite good, with some flaws but at least it’s captivating. Building character developments, slowly building relationship, explain more on the world-building aspect etc.
