The stories of the bikers are particularly enjoyable and don’t crop up elsewhere as a lot of the zombie anecdotes do. The color palette is better represented with deeper reds, greens, and blues, which suffered a bit on Scream Factory’s previous Blu-ray. Shadows are more gray looking overall and they’re also a bit crushed, lacking the truly deep blacks and bold highlights of the other 4K presentations. In addition to finer details being more visible, there is also a more pronounced layer of grain in the image.
