The easiest way to do this is to visit the unique Over Fifties Friends chat room.... And visit often! There is usually a friendly gang in there of an evening. There are plenty of rooms, so it should never get to crowded! And you can even create your own rooms in there if you wish. It is also possible to have private chat conversations with other users if you don't feel like broadcasting to the entire room.
